The front and rear cameras, equipped with dual SONY STARVIS sensors, can simultaneously record video up to 2.7K + 2.7K resolution, enabling easy reading of road signs, vehicle number plates, and other key details. The upgraded 2.7K rear camera presents the same imaging quality as the front camera, providing sharper and smoother video than traditional 1080P.
Voice control allows users to command the dashboard camera while keeping their hands on the steering wheel. An optional CPL (sold separately) effectively reduces glare and reflections, enabling the E2 to produce the best video quality. The dashcam's reliable supercapacitor is safer, more durable, explosion-proof, and resistant to extreme temperatures (-4°F to 158°F).
The E2 features built-in 5GHz Wi-Fi for faster previewing, sharing videos on social media, and downloading files. Its built-in GPS helps accurately record location, route, and speed information. Vantrue provides a free app and firmware upgrades for this front and rear Wi-Fi camera.
There are 3 easy ways to lock emergency video: the built-in G-sensor detects collisions, the included remote control can be pressed, or the user can say "Lock Video" to the dashcam. The night vision 2.0 feature diagnoses surrounding brightness in real-time, enabling clearer, brighter recording in low light conditions.
The dashcam offers 4 parking modes for 24/7 protection (hardwire kit required), including buffered motion detection, collision detection triggered by the adjustable G-sensor, low bitrate recording to save SD card space, and low framerate recording for busy parking lots.
